The Method
How a tile is born.
We honor traditional techniques. Each piece passes through many stages, requiring patience and a steady hand.

Shaping
The raw clay is wedged, rolled flat, and cut into squares. The tiles are left to dry naturally for several weeks to prevent warping before their first encounter with heat.

Biscuit Firing
Once fully dry, the tiles enter the kiln for their first firing. This transforms the fragile earth into a porous, durable ceramic body known as biscuit, ready to absorb the glaze.

Glazing & Painting
Each biscuit is dipped in a white tin glaze. While the surface is still powdery and dry, artists paint the motifs using brushes loaded with natural mineral pigments, blending tradition with freehand skill.

Final Kiln
The painted tiles return to the kiln for a final, high-temperature firing. The heat melts the powdery base and pigments into a smooth, glossy, and permanent glass surface.
